Public Relations

Jerry has helped many organizations with their Public Relations activities. He develops Strategic Public Relations and Media Relations programs, and helps launch products and services, conduct News Conferences and generate media coverage. He has a talent for keeping his clients in front of the media they want to reach. Here are some examples.

RSS Solutions

RSS Solutions was a Canadian company with prominent customers in Canada and the US, but had never been featured in the media. Canadian articles have appeared in The Globe and Mail, The Kitchener-Waterloo Record, The Business Times, Advanced Manufacturing Magazine, Materials Management & Distribution Magazine, and Computer World Canada. US articles have appeared in MSI, APICS Performance Review Magazine, Industrial News Room, Supply Chain Systems, The Fabricator, and Business Manufacturing Technology.

The Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences

The Michener Institute had no media presence. The assignment was to audit internal/external communications, make recommendations, and implement a strategy designed to generate coverage. Once the audit and recommendations were complete and internal communications vehicles revamped, attention was devoted to media relations. A schedule of news releases was developed, exclusive bylined pieces prepared for key publications, and articles then appeared. Initial articles have appeared in The Toronto Sun, Hospital News, The Toronto Star, CIO Governments' Review Magazine, and The Globe and Mail.

Ontario Police Complaints Review

Jerry organized a series of Public Meetings and handled all facets of Media Relations for the Police Complaints Review in Ontario. He assisted the Hon. Patrick LeSage, former Chief Justice of the Ontario Superior Court, who had been retained by the Attorney General of Ontario to conduct a one-man review. When Mr. LeSage's report was delivered to the Minister and made public, Jerry organized and managed a News Conference on behalf of the Ministry of the Attorney General. This resulted in significant media coverage.
